Terms and Conditions of 10 Code Trader LLC
10 Code Trader LLC absolutely detests the fine print in everything in society, but in order to cover our butts in case of legal action against us, we are forced to write these and post them for the viewing of everyone in today’s sue-happy society.
Getting down to business: If using the services of 10 Code Trader LLC, you agree to these terms and conditions.
10 Code Trader LLC is set up strictly as a contact service to help people wishing to trade, sell, auction, or buy goods, meet each other. 10 Code Trader LLC does not sell anything to buyers on this site. Our function is to provide a path / means for people to meet each other from a distance and display their items.
Before you become a registered member of 10 Code Trader LLC, you must read and accept all of the terms and conditions in this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy. Even if you do not register to list any items, you still must operate as a buyer or trader under the rules outlined in this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
This Agreement takes effect on April 4, 2008. For any new users after that date, it becomes effective immediately. If there is ever a change that needs to be made to this Agreement, 10 Code Trader LLC reserves the right to add or change that information at any time. Any changes will be posted on the web site for at least 10 days before the changes will become effective.
While we may, in the future, use other options, we may limit, suspend, or refuse further use of our services and user accounts. We may remove content and take technical and legal steps to keep users off 10 Code Trader LLC if we think they are doing anything inappropriate on our Site. We also reserve the right to cancel accounts that cannot be confirmed or have been inactive for a long period of time.
Rules for Using 10 Code Trader LLC
Things Users will NOT do:
· Place personal ads
· Place ads for services of a personal/sexual nature
· Post content or items in inappropriate category or areas
· Violate any laws, third party rights, or 10 Code Trader LLC’s policies
· Use the Site, if you are not able to form legally binding contracts, are under the age of 18, or are suspended from our Site
· Fail to deliver payment for items purchased by you, unless the seller has materially changed the item’s description after you bid, a clear typographical error is made, or you cannot authenticate the seller’s identity or contact information
· Fail to deliver items purchased from you, unless the buyer fails to meet the posted terms, or you cannot authenticate the buyer’s identity
· Manipulate the price of any item or interfere with other user’s listings
· Circumvent or manipulate our fee structure or the billing process
· Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous content (including personal information)
· Try to alter or undermine the feedback or ratings system
· Transfer your registered member account, including the feedback, and User ID to another party without our consent
· Distribute or post spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
· Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm 10 Code Trader LLC, or the interests or property of 10 Code Trader LLC’s users
· Copy, modify, or distribute content from the Site and 10 Code Trader LLC’s copyrights and trademarks
· Gather or distribute information about users, including email addresses or any other contact information without their consent
If an auction closes for a price or an item is “bought” it is the responsibility of the buyer and the seller to work out the payment agreement. 10 Code Trader LLC will not be responsible for any lost / stolen / damaged / poorly described items. As a user of this site, you must use your own judgment and trade at your own risk. Your only recourse for what you feel is poor service on the part of the seller/trader/ buyer is to display your dislike in the feedback of the other person.
